The Owner's
Janti & Karen Van Zyl

Several years ago Karen Van Zyl had a dream
and in that dream God spoke to her about having
a house for His children. Being in South Africa,
surrounded by the many orphan children of her
home land, she believed He was instructing her to
open an orphanage. She enlisted her husband and
together they sat out to make the deam a reality.
With the paperwork complete, house purchased and
one thing left to do, talk with the local residents of the neighboring area. If the neighbors were agreeable it was a done deal, but the residents said "NO" for fear of the un-fortunate things that accompany a facility of that nature in South Africa. What must I do with this house? The house at Emkhe was and is the home of SASMM (South African School of Ministry and Missions) a training ground for ministers and missionaries alike. However, as sure as the wind blows changes happen and the House has evolved into the Missions Guest house that it now is, serving minstry groups, mission Teams and missionaries from around the Globe. A house for HIS children, Betor-House of Light to the Nations.
